The people who can't read it must either have very small SDTVs, or very poor said: " I agree with the first guy in the Kotaku comment section. I mean, some of the smaller text can be a tad blurry, but it's certainly not unreadable. Anyway, I'm playing on a 28" SDTV, and I haven't had any trouble reading. Sort of like a game with sound that's inaudible unless you've got a surround sound system. Now games obviously look considerably sharper on HDTVs, and that's to be expected, but when a game is unplayable in SD - which Mass Effect 2 is, if you can't read the text - that's a major design flaw. Hell, if you buy a Playstation 3, you don't even get any HDMI cable you have to buy that separately. If it was supposed to be a requirement, they wouldn't have included SDTV-compatible cables. It's unfortunate but it's also to be expected."Thing is, HD is supposed to be an option, not a requirement. Complaining about SDTV is similar to complaining about not being able to run all PC games on max settings on a laptop - you know the risks when you buy a game. Xbox 360 is a HD system and all the games are meant to be played on HD.
